Job Title: Software Engineer
Location: India (Remote)
Employment Type: Full Time/Contract
About the Role:
The Software Engineer will contribute to the design and implementation of foundational components of an event driven Identity & Access Management (IAM) platform. This role is primarily backend-focused, with some frontend responsibilities, and is oriented toward building reusable platform capabilities rather than full end-user applications.
This role may involve working with or supporting one of MatchPoint Solutions’ client organizations.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement backend services and workflows supporting identity lifecycle processing using Python and Azure based services.
- Develop and integrate data models and processing logic that interact with Snowflake as the canonical identity data store.
- Build and consume APIs that support event-driven orchestration and connector abstraction patterns.
- Contribute to frontend components using React, with the expectation that React may be a build-from-zero skill rather than an area of deep prior expertise.
- Collaborate closely with architects, product leadership, and delivery to ensure implementations align with defined architectural patterns, acceptance criteria, and auditability requirements.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to support delivery of high-quality, reusable platform components.
Qualifications:
Experience: 10+yrs
Required:
- Strong experience in Python and Typescript
- Experience working in Azure environments
- Experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
- Exposure to React, with willingness and ability to build frontend capability as needed
- IAM domain experience is strongly preferred
- Experience working in distributed, event-driven, or service-oriented architectures
- Experience with GitHub Copilot is highly preferred
