About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join our core engineering team and build scalable, reliable, and high-performance software systems. This is a hands-on development role focused primarily on writing, reviewing, and optimizing production-grade code across backend and frontend layers.
You will be responsible for delivering features end-to-end from design and implementation to testing and deployment while working closely with engineering and product teams in the U.S. Regular collaboration during overlapping working hours is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end software solutions, including backend services, APIs, databases, and frontend applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code, following modern software engineering best practices.
- Build and enhance Java-based microservices using Spring and Spring Boot.
- Develop responsive and maintainable frontend applications using Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Participate actively in technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews.
- Debug and resolve complex production issues across the full stack.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes.
- Work within Agile development practices, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives aligned with U.S. time zones.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into working software.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience in building and maintaining enterprise-grade applications.
- Strong proficiency in Java 8+, with a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
- Extensive experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and RESTful microservices.
- Practical experience in frontend development using Angular (v9+), HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong working knowledge of Oracle databases, SQL, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
- Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments, including basic shell scripting.
- Experience with Tomcat or similar Java application servers.
- Proficiency with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and familiarity with Subversion.
- Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and Test Driven Development (TDD).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong sense of ownership for delivered code.
