About The Role
We are seeking a versatile and intellectually curious Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Azithropic. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining the core platform that powers our intelligent applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robust APIs and infrastructure that orchestrate requests across multiple machine learning models, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
This position offers flexibility, with remote work options across India and the possibility of based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, adaptability, and a passion for AI/ML advancements. Key qualifications include:
- Exceptional ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and challenges across the entire stack.
- Proven experience in backend development, particularly in building and scaling RESTful APIs using Python or similar modern languages such as Node.js.
- Proficiency in frontend development with modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue, or Svelte.
- Hands-on experience with AWS core services, including EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, and S3.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on speed in implementation and debugging.
- Ability to identify personal skill gaps and rapidly acquire new knowledge to meet project demands.
- Academic or industry research experience in ML is a plus but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
The role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities aimed at building a resilient and scalable AI platform. Key duties include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining a high-performance REST API gateway to serve our AI models efficiently.
- Creating intuitive user interfaces and dashboards for monitoring, configuration, and analytics of services.
- Deploying and managing secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS to support our applications.
- Implementing systems for authentication, rate limiting, request logging, and security best practices.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate research concepts into production-ready services.
- Adapting to new challenges by taking on varied roles within the team to ensure project success.
- Engaging in continuous learning and development to stay abreast of the latest AI/ML research and industry trends.
