About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Professional in Software Engineering to join Cargill’s dynamic team. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated integration solutions that facilitate seamless data flow across our enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in integration technologies, particularly with Dell Boomi, and will play a critical role in automating deployment processes, enhancing system performance, and ensuring the stability of middleware platforms. As a senior member of the team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, IT specialists, and external vendors to deliver scalable, efficient, and reliable integration solutions that support Cargill’s strategic objectives. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work on innovative projects that impact global operations, requiring a proactive approach to continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience working with Dell Boomi, with a total of 5 or more years in relevant roles.
- At least 10 years of total IT experience, preferably with a focus on integration and middleware technologies.
- Strong understanding of cloud and on-premises integration architectures.
- Proven expertise in designing and developing scalable integration solutions using Dell Boomi connectors and patterns.
- Experience with automation of deployment processes utilizing Boomi’s AtomSphere platform and CI/CD tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting complex integration issues.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Strong documentation skills to maintain comprehensive records of processes, configurations, and workflows.
- Relevant certifications in Dell Boomi or related integration platforms are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement high-quality integration solutions using Dell Boomi, ensuring adherence to best practices for maintainability, scalability, and performance.
- Lead automation initiatives for deployment and integration processes, leveraging Boomi’s AtomSphere platform and internal CI/CD pipelines to facilitate reliable releases.
- Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective integration solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all integration processes, deployment workflows, and system configurations to ensure operational transparency.
- Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of integration solutions to identify issues and implement effective resolutions.
- Continuously evaluate and improve integration processes and middleware platform stability, incorporating industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless data exchange and system interoperability across various platforms.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new tools, and best practices in integration technology to recommend innovative solutions for business needs.
- Support operational teams by providing expert-level troubleshooting and resolving complex integration issues promptly.
