Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Software Engineer role based in Belgaum. The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain software components for industrial automation and automotive ECU applications, with a focus on reliability, performance, and scalability. Responsibilities include writing clean, well-documented code; implementing back-end services and APIs; debugging and resolving software defects; and contributing to code reviews and testing activities. The role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as hardware, QA, and product to translate requirements into robust technical solutions. The Software Engineer will also support integration with IoT and M2M platforms, follow secure coding and industry best practices, and participate in continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., C, C++, Java, Python).
- Hands-on experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and related design patterns.
- Knowledge of Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and database integration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working with embedded systems, automotive software (ECU), or industrial automation is an advantage.
- Familiarity with IoT/M2M platforms, communication protocols, and real-time or safety-critical systems is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site team environment, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
