About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled SDE2 (Backend) to join our talented engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your deep expertise in computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and system design, to build and enhance high-performance, compute, and I/O-intensive applications. Your work will directly influence the scalability, efficiency, and reliability of our backend systems, supporting our mission to deliver robust and innovative solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex problems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development of industry-leading technology products.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in backend development using Python within a production environment.
- Proven track record of scaling compute and I/O-intensive applications effectively.
- Strong foundational knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
- Experience managing high concurrency and optimizing large-scale systems for performance and reliability.
- Hands-on experience with database technologies such as Redis, PostgreSQL, and ClickHouse.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle, including CI/CD practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
- Experience in the financial technology sector is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and optimize complex backend systems using Python, focusing on efficiency, durability, and scalability.
- Enhance application performance by implementing best practices for speed, resource management, and system robustness.
- Design and implement methodologies to handle high concurrency and large data volumes, setting new industry standards.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and data teams to translate requirements into resilient, scalable system architectures.
- Manage and optimize storage solutions and databases such as Redis, PostgreSQL, and ClickHouse to ensure data integrity and system stability.
- Promote coding excellence through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices during development and deployment.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including continuous integration and delivery, to ensure timely and reliable product releases.
- Identify and resolve complex technical issues, providing innovative solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.
