Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Software Engineer. The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing software applications, handling back-end web development, maintaining robust programming practices, and implementing object-oriented programming. The role also involves testing, debugging, and collaborating with a small, dynamic team to enhance platform functionality.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science
- Proven skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
- Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and scalable code
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Familiarity with working in collaborative, team-oriented remote environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience working with community-focused or local business platforms is a plus
