**Hiring for multiple banking IT roles at different levels- experience in Banking / Payments preferred.
A leading South East Asian Bank is building out its Technology and Digital Banking capability center in Bangalore, India and we are currently hiring across multiple critical engineering roles.
This initiative will support the bank’s next-generation Digital Banking, Mobile Wallet, Payments and API Banking ecosystem across regional markets.
We are looking for strong engineering talent with exposure to Banking, Fintech, Payments or Digital Financial Services environments.
Current Priority Hiring:
• Backend Lead
• Backend Developers (3 Positions)
• Mobile Lead – React Native
• Mobile Developers – React Native (3 Positions)
• DevOps Engineer
The Backend Lead will drive the architecture and development of core backend systems powering Digital Banking and Wallet platforms.
Key Attributes:
• Strong backend architecture and API design capability
• Ability to lead engineering teams and mentor developers
• Strong understanding of scalability, transaction systems and secure coding
• Experience designing high-performance RESTful APIs
• Strong debugging and production support capability
• Exposure to Banking APIs, payment systems and enterprise integrations
Technical Skills:
• Node.js / Express.js
• PostgreSQL / SQL
• Redis
• REST APIs
• JWT / OAuth2
• CI/CD and Git workflows
• Queue systems such as RabbitMQ or Bull advantageous
Banking, Wallet, Payments or Fintech experience preferred.
The Backend Developers will work on APIs, integrations and business logic supporting Wallet and Digital Banking applications.
Key Attributes:
• Strong coding and problem-solving capability
• Good understanding of API-based architecture
• Ability to work within Agile engineering teams
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting capability
• Passion for scalable backend engineering
Technical Skills:
• Node.js / Express.js

Exposure to Banking, Payments or Fintech ecosystems preferred.
The Mobile Lead will lead the development of the bank’s customer-facing Mobile Wallet and Digital Banking application across Android and iOS platforms.

• Strong mobile architecture and leadership capability
• Experience managing mobile engineering teams
• Strong understanding of mobile security and scalability
• Ability to build reusable and maintainable app frameworks
• Strong ownership mindset and product thinking
Technical Skills:
• React Native
• TypeScript
• Redux / Zustand
• REST API integration
• Mobile authentication and biometric security
• CodePush / AppCenter
Banking, Wallet, Payments or Fintech experience strongly preferred.
The Mobile Developers will build customer-facing Wallet and Banking applications with strong focus on performance and user experience.

• Passion for mobile engineering and digital experiences
• Ability to build responsive and scalable mobile applications
• Strong debugging and optimization capability

The DevOps Engineer will manage cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines and platform reliability for Digital Banking systems.

• Strong infrastructure and automation mindset
• Experience managing production cloud environments
• Strong troubleshooting and monitoring capability
• Understanding of high availability and disaster recovery
• Strong platform ownership mindset
Technical Skills:
• AWS (ECS, RDS, S3, CloudFront)
• Docker / Kubernetes
• CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / Jenkins)
• Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
• Linux / Bash
• Monitoring tools such as Datadog, Prometheus or CloudWatch
Exposure to Banking, Payments or Fintech ecosystems preferred.
