About The Role
We are currently seeking experienced Manual Testers to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and functionality of our Fire Insurance domain solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing methodologies, including functional testing, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing. The candidate must possess domain-specific knowledge in Fire Insurance, with exposure to fire policies, underwriting processes, or fire claims being highly desirable. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to work in a fast-paced environment where their testing expertise directly impacts product quality and client satisfaction. Immediate joiners are preferred, with a notice period of up to 15 days.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manual testing, including functional, SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
- Domain expertise in Fire Insurance, with familiarity with fire policies, underwriting, or claims processing.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Immediate availability or within 15 days for joining.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
- Perform functional testing to verify that features meet the specified requirements.
- Conduct system integration testing (SIT) to ensure seamless interaction between various system components.
- Execute user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate the system from an end-user perspective.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate bug tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and clarify testing scopes.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback to improve testability and quality.
- Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and continuously improve testing processes.
