Job Title: Software Engineer - AI/ML
Location: Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced AI/ML Engineer to join our growing AI team. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models with a strong focus on Large Language Models (LLMs), data modeling, and Python-based ML frameworks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to develop intelligent systems that deliver real-world impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, train, fine-tune, and deploy LLM-based architectures for a variety of NLP tasks.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines for data used in ML applications.
- Drive the development of ML models from concept through production, including experimentation, validation, and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define AI features and integrate models into production systems.
- Conduct model evaluation, interpretability, and A/B testing to ensure robustness and reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on AI/ML best practices.
- Stay current with the latest developments in AI/ML research and apply cutting-edge methods when appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in machine learning and AI system development.
- Strong hands-on experience with LLMs (e.g., GPT, BERT, LLaMA, or similar).
- Proficiency in Python and ML libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face Transformers.
- Solid understanding of data modelling, feature engineering, and preprocessing techniques.
- Experience deploying models in production environments using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
