We are seeking a skilled
DevOps Engineer with Python Backend experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Kubernetes, and GitOps, along with hands-on experience in developing and maintaining backend services using
Python and FastAPI.
In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, managing containerized applications, and contributing to backend API development. You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performance applications.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and FastAPI.
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and integrate them with internal and external services.
- Deploy and manage backend applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Pulumi.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
- Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes.
- Implement GitOps deployment strategies using Argo CD.
- Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using Shell scripting.
- Monitor application and infrastructure health using Grafana and Prometheus.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and improve system reliability.
- Collaborate with frontend, backend, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Ensure application security, scalability, performance, and availability across environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4–5 years of experience in DevOps and Python backend development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python, FastAPI, Kubernetes, Docker, HELM,GitLab CI/CD, Pulumi, GCP, Argo CD, and GitOps.
- Experience with Linux environments, REST APIs, and backend architecture.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native application deployment and microservices.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
