About NextBurb
NextBurb is building AI-powered products and data systems for the US real-estate market. We partner with home buyers and sellers throughout their real-estate journey and act as their data advisor until they successfully complete their home purchase or sale.
Our platform uses large-scale property, transaction, neighborhood, and agent-performance data to help match buyers and sellers with the right real-estate agents based on historical expertise, transaction success, local market knowledge, and customer needs.
We focus heavily on data-driven matching, transaction intelligence, automation, and AI-assisted workflows to help real-estate transactions close faster and more efficiently for everyone involved.
What We’re Looking For
- Highly motivated engineers looking to grow fast in a product-focused startup environment
- Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and problem solving
- Good proficiency in Python and JavaScript
- Strong SQL capability and solid understanding of PostgreSQL
- Comfortable working with large datasets and data-heavy systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in Linux/macOS terminal environments
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development workflows
- Actively uses tools like Claude and Codex within terminal-based development workflows to improve engineering productivity
- Self-driven mindset with strong ownership and learning attitude
Nice to Have
- Personal projects, hackathons, internships, or open-source contributions
- Exposure to APIs, backend systems, frontend frameworks, or cloud infrastructure
- Familiarity with debugging, deployment, and modern software engineering workflows
Work Environment
- Full-time in-office role based in Balewadi, Pune
- 5-day work week (Monday to Friday)
- Since we work closely with the US market, overlap with EST hours is important for meetings and collaboration
