Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Software Engineer – C++ specializing in Trading Systems, based in New Delhi. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing trading applications using C++. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate systems, ensure high performance and low latency, and debug complex issues. Additional responsibilities include participating in code reviews, optimizing existing codebases, and supporting the deployment of software solutions in a live environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in C++ programming, object-oriented design, and multi-threading
- Knowledge of trading systems, low-latency systems, or real-time applications
- Understanding of algorithms, data structures, and system optimization techniques
- Experience with debugging, code profiling, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems, scripting, and tools such as Git
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Prior experience in the financial or trading industry is a plus
Good to Have
• Working knowledge of C# and Windows-based systems
• Experience in low-latency or high-throughput systems
• Familiarity with scripting or CI/CD pipelines
