Technical Skills
- Mandatory
- SCCM / MECM (Applications, Updates, ADR, Collections)
- Microsoft Intune & Autopilot
- Windows 10/11 patching lifecycle
- Pre-production test lab operations
- Good to Have
- macOS update management
- EPOS / frontline device patching
- Qualys / vulnerability tooling integration
- PowerShell scripting
- ServiceNow ITSM integration
Process & Governance
- ITIL-aligned Incident, Problem, Change processes
- Understanding of SLA, OLA and audit requirements
- Experience working in regulated / retail environments
Key Responsibilities:
Software Distribution
- Package, validate, and deploy software via SCCM & Intune
- Manage deployment rings (Pilot → Broad → Enterprise)
- Maintain application catalog and retirement lifecycle
- Coordinate UAT and production rollouts
Patch Management
- Execute monthly OS and third-party patch cycles
- Ensure compliance with agreed patch SLAs
- Coordinate emergency / out-of-band patching
- Validate patch impact via test lab before rollout
Incident, Problem & Change Support
- Provide L2/L3 support for deployment & patching failures
- Produce RCA for repeat incidents
- Support CAB approvals and rollback plans
- Create SOPs and Known Errors
Reporting & Compliance
- Deliver patch compliance and vulnerability reports
- Track SLA adherence and remediation timelines
- Support audits with documented evidence
Transformation Support (B4)
- Support Autopilot, Qualys Patch, Cognix / SysTrack
- Participate in POV, rollout, and hypercare phases
- Contribute to automation and self-heal initiatives
