Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior SDET with strong programming skills and a solid background in test automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building and maintaining automation frameworks, API testing, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines. You should be a self-driven team player with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to independently manage tasks once goals are defined.


Role Overview
As a Software Developer Engineer in Test, you will work closely with an Agile team to design and execute test strategies for cloud-connected products and services. You will contribute to automation initiatives, leveraging modern tools and AI-assisted techniques to improve test efficiency and coverage.

Your responsibilities include enhancing existing automation frameworks, developing new test cases, and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines to enable faster and more reliable releases. You will also mentor team members, review automation code, and drive best practices across the team.

This role requires a proactive mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure high product quality and strong customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust automation frameworks
  • Write automated test scripts using programming languages (Python preferred)
  • Perform API testing and validation using modern tools and frameworks
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and manage test execution workflows
  • Analyze test results, debug failures, and ensure timely resolution
  • Contribute to improving test strategies, coverage, and efficiency
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain best practices in test automation



Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 2+ years of experience in software testing as automation engineer.
  • Strong programming skills (Python preferred).
  • Experience with automation frameworks (Robot Framework preferred).
  • Solid experience in API testing.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD and test pipeline management.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Good to have:

  • Experience in video streaming, security, surveillance, or IoT domains
  • Familiarity with AI tools/agents such as Claude or similar
  • Experience with JIRA, QMetry, Postman, and GitHub
  • Hands-on experience with Performance testing tools like JMeter, Locust or any other.
