About The Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Full-Stack Developer to join our dynamic team at AP Guru. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications that enhance our online educational platform. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both frontend and backend development, with expertise in modern frameworks such as Svelte and PHP. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver high-impact features that improve user experience and operational efficiency. Your contributions will directly influence the quality, performance, and security of our digital services, supporting our mission to provide exceptional educational support to students worldwide.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in full-stack web development. A strong proficiency in Svelte or similar modern frontend frameworks is essential, along with the ability to quickly adapt to Svelte's ecosystem. Deep expertise in PHP and related frameworks is required to develop robust backend solutions. Candidates should have a solid understanding of RESTful API design, MVC architecture, and ORM patterns to ensure scalable and maintainable codebases. Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL is necessary. Familiarity with Git for version control, deploying applications on AWS, and implementing best practices for scalability and security are also critical. Additionally, candidates should possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a high-performing team environment.
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable web applications utilizing Svelte for frontend and core PHP for backend functionalities.
- Create responsive, accessible user interfaces, ensuring clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.
- Manage business logic and ensure smooth database operations using MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Deploy, monitor, and manage services on AWS platforms including EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFront.
- Write comprehensive unit tests and conduct code reviews to uphold quality standards.
- Troubleshoot cross-stack issues, optimize system performance, and enhance security measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as designers and product managers to deliver impactful features within project timelines.
