About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Engineer to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable microservices that form the backbone of our platform. Your expertise will ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and efficient software solutions that directly impact millions of users. You will work closely with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, taking end-to-end ownership of features from conception through deployment and maintenance. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background with extensive experience in building scalable microservices and working within cloud infrastructures. A B.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science or related field from a reputed institution is required. You should demonstrate a solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms. Proven hands-on experience with Java and Spring is essential, along with excellent coding skills and the ability to translate designs into high-quality code fluently. Strong problem-solving capabilities, adaptability to new technologies, and a passion for building reliable systems are critical. Additionally, candidates should have 8-10 years of relevant experience in developing RESTful or SOAP microservices, with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable and maintainable microservices that address real-world business problems, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Take ownership of entire product features, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvements.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, architects, and other developers, to ensure seamless sprint execution and delivery.
- Implement best practices in coding, problem-solving, and system design to uphold quality standards at every stage.
- Ensure robust testing and quality assurance processes are followed, including writing unit tests and participating in code reviews.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues promptly, minimizing downtime and ensuring a smooth user experience.
- Mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, proactively adopting innovative solutions to enhance system performance and scalability.
