Role Overview
Desapex is seeking a Software Developer specializing in API integrations, automation, and data pipelines to support digital platform implementations across construction and infrastructure projects.
The role involves developing system integrations, workflow automation, and analytics data pipelines connecting project platforms with enterprise systems such as ERP, procurement, scheduling tools, and analytics dashboards.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Integrations
- Develop API-based integrations and microservices connecting digital project platforms with enterprise systems
- Support deployment across development, sandbox, UAT, and production environments
- Implement logging, monitoring, retry logic, and troubleshooting for integrations
- Testing & Monitoring
Integrate platforms with:
- ERP systems (WBS, financial data, procurement)
- Scheduling systems (Primavera P6 / MS Project)
- Procurement and asset management systems
- Implement API authentication, data mapping, and webhook/event-based integrations
Automation & Data Pipelines
- Develop automation workflows for project data synchronization and approvals
- Write scripts for data extraction, transformation, validation, and migration
- Manage structured data pipelines using formats such as JSON, XML, and CSV
Power BI Analytics Support
- Develop data pipelines feeding Power BI datasets
- Support creation of dashboards for:
- Project progress and performance
- Optimize dataset refresh and reporting performance
Required Technical Skills
- Strong programming experience in Python, Node.js, JavaScript, or C#
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML data processing, and API authentication
- Experience building system integrations and automation services
- Familiarity with SQL databases, API testing tools, and version control (Git)
Preferred Capabilities
- Experience with digital construction platforms (e.g., Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360)
- Exposure to platform APIs and developer frameworks (e.g., Autodesk Platform Services / Forge)
- Integration middleware experience (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi)
- Experience building Power BI data models and analytics pipelines
- Understanding of construction project data structures such as WBS, BOQ, cost and schedule data is a bonus.
