About the Role
We are looking for an experienced developer to work on real digital product projects.
The work centres on pragmatic implementation, AI-assisted development workflows, and clean specification practices.
You will collaborate closely with a small, technically focused team and work on projects end-to-end from spec to delivery.

What You'll Work On
• Your day-to-day work will vary by project, but typically includes:
• Building web apps, internal tools, automations, and product-related prototypes.
• Frontend and backend tasks depending on project needs and your strengths.
• Designing and implementing interfaces, data flows, forms, exports, and lightweight workflows.
• Working from clearly written specs — translating requirements into working, documented software.
• Occasionally contributing to technical architecture decisions and implementation planning.
How We Work
• This is not a traditional dev shop. The team operates with a structured, AI-integrated workflow:
• AI tools (such as Claude, Copilot, Cursor, or equivalents) are used at every stage — research, coding, testing, and code review.
• Spec-first: goals, expected behaviour, and acceptance criteria are defined before development begins.
• Agent-driven development: tasks are scoped so AI agents can contribute meaningfully alongside human developers.
• Work is delivered in small, verifiable steps with short feedback cycles — no long dark periods.
• Decisions and assumptions are documented so any team member (or AI agent) can pick up where another left off.
Requirements
Experience & Skills
• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong fundamentals in at least one of: TypeScript/React, Python/Django, or a comparable modern stack.
• Demonstrated ability to read and implement from a written technical specification.
• Comfortable working across frontend and backend — you don't need to be equally strong in both, but you should not be limited to just one.
• Experience building or contributing to web applications in a product or client delivery context (not purely internal tooling or academic projects).
AI & Workflow
• Active user of AI coding tools — you should already have a workflow, not be just starting out.
• Ability to break down tasks in a way that AI agents can contribute to them effectively.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering or structured instructions for development tasks is a plus.
Communication & Work Style
• Clear written communication in English — status updates, blocker descriptions, and handover notes should be self-explanatory.
• Proactive about surfacing assumptions, risks, and open questions early rather than late.
• Structured, self-directed working style — you manage your own time and flag issues without being prompted.
• Documentation-minded: you write code and notes that others can build on.
Nice to Have
• Experience working with German-speaking clients or in a European business context.
• Familiarity with tools like Linear, Notion, GitHub Projects, or similar for task tracking.
• Experience with REST API design, integrations, or data export pipelines.
• Prior work in a spec-driven or product-led development environment.
• Exposure to agent frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar) — beneficial but not required.
