Experience & Core Requirements
- 8–12+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise software development
- Proven experience as a Software Architect, Solution Architect, or Tech Lead
- Strong mastery of full-stack architecture (not limited to frontend or backend)
- Deep experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS preferred)
- Strong understanding of microservices, APIs, distributed systems, and data stores (SQL & NoSQL)
- Solid grounding in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and production operations
- Strong command over performance optimization, scalability, and security best practices
- Ability to lead through influence, not hierarchy
- Comfortable working in fast-moving, high-ownership environments
Key Responsibilities | Required Skills & Experience
Architecture & System Design
- Own and define end-to-end architecture for enterprise web platforms, data-driven applications, and AI-enabled products
- Design scalable, fault-tolerant, and cloud-native architectures aligned to business outcomes
- Make clear architectural trade-offs across performance, cost, security, and velocity
- Establish and enforce architecture patterns, standards, and reference designs
Engineering Leadership
- Provide technical leadership to senior engineers across frontend, backend, data, and platform teams
- Review designs, critical code paths, and system decisions for quality and long-term maintainability
- Drive engineering discipline—clean code, modularity, observability, testing, and documentation
- Mentor senior developers and groom future tech leads and architects
Full-stack & Platform Depth
- Ensure strong fundamentals in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend architecture
- Architect SSR / CSR applications with a focus on performance, SEO, and scalability
- Design robust backend systems using Node.js / Python / Java / .NET as appropriate
- Lead API-first and event-driven architectures (REST, async messaging, streaming)
Cloud, DevOps & Scalability
- Architect solutions on AWS (preferred) or equivalent cloud platforms
- Drive adoption of microservices, containerization, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code
- Ensure systems are production-ready with monitoring, logging, alerting, and built-in resilience
- Optimize for cost efficiency and performance at scale
Security & Compliance
- Embed security-by-design across applications and platforms
- Ensure adherence to enterprise security standards, data privacy, and compliance requirements
- Review architecture for vulnerabilities, data protection, and access control
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a trusted technical advisor for clients, translating business needs into robust architectures
- Lead architecture discussions with CTOs, Chief Architects, and Engineering Heads
- Support pre-sales, solutioning, and complex delivery escalations when needed
