Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Software Architect – Classic AUTOSAR (ADAS) role based in Bengaluru. The Software Architect will define and own the software architecture for Classic AUTOSAR-based ADAS systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance with automotive standards. Daily responsibilities include designing system components, guiding software design decisions, reviewing code and architecture, and collaborating closely with development teams to implement AUTOSAR stacks and ADAS features. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to translate functional and non-functional requirements into robust architecture, conducting design and architecture reviews, and resolving technical issues across the software lifecycle. The Software Architect will also mentor engineers, contribute to best practices, and support continuous improvement in tools, processes, and design patterns.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Software Architecture and Software Design for embedded and automotive systems, particularly Classic AUTOSAR and ADAS.
- Hands-on experience in Software Development and Programming in languages such as C/C++, with a focus on real-time and safety-critical applications.
- Proficiency in applying Design Patterns and architectural principles to build modular, maintainable, and testable systems.
- Familiarity with AUTOSAR tools, configuration workflows, and automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet) is highly beneficial.
- Experience with requirements analysis, system integration, and performance optimization in automotive or embedded domains.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, provide technical leadership, and communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Knowledge of functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262) and ADAS-related technologies and sensors is an advantage.
