Role Description
The Software Application Developer will work full time in a hybrid setup based in Bengaluru, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of Neuradesk’s web-based and backend applications across both the candidate-facing job portal and the Neuradesk Hire recruiting platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features across the platform’s integrated tools and agentic recruiting workflows, writing clean and efficient code, and collaborating with product and design teams to translate user requirements into scalable solutions. The developer will integrate internal and external services, optimize database queries and application performance, and ensure a secure, reliable experience for both job seekers and recruiters. Additional tasks involve troubleshooting issues, participating in code reviews, and contributing to technical documentation and continuous improvement of the development process.
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience building and maintaining production-grade applications.
• Candidates should possess solid Databases skills, including designing schemas, writing efficient queries, and working with relational or NoSQL database systems.
• Candidates should possess practical expertise in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and related front-end technologies to create responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
• Candidates should possess Integration skills, including working with APIs, microservices, and data flows between multiple systems or tools.
• Candidates should ideally have experience with modern programming languages and frameworks (such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, or similar).
• Candidates should demonstrate familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), software testing practices, and agile development methodologies.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, collaborative communication skills, and an interest in AI-driven products and career technology are beneficial. Exposure to agentic AI systems or LLM orchestration (for example, multi-model workflows across Claude, GPT, or Gemini) is a strong plus, given its central role in the Neuradesk Hire recruiting platform.
