Sr. Solutions Consultant

Job Description At IFS, as a Solutions Consultant, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, collaborating with the sales team, prospects and existing clients to uncover challenges and design compelling solutions using the IFS Softeon decision analytics platform. This role is key in demonstrating the positive outcomes of our product suite to prospective clients across the Americas region. You will need to be comfortable having close dialogue with external stakeholders, including C-level, technical management, and architectural teams to position IFS as the partner of choice for the adoption and enablement of IFS Softeon solutions in our core industry verticals. Our customers are typically mid-to-large asset intensive enterprises managing key infrastructure, such as Energy & Utilities, Water, Manufacturing, Rail & Transportation, and more. In this role you will develop industry knowledge to become a trusted advisor and key technology ambassador for our customers and prospects. As this is a customer-facing role focused on providing complex solutions, you will need to be comfortable working in a multi-faceted role that will include: • Delivering impactful product demos and executive briefings (virtual and on-site) • Designing WMS technology solutions • Providing technical leadership in the sales process • Engaging with the industry at external events Previous experience in WMS, presales, consulting or solution design with other software solutions such as SAP, Oracle, IBM, is preferred. Alternatively, experience with other technology solutions in any of the key industries mentioned above will be highly regarded. Key Responsibilities • Product Sales and Demonstrations o Developing and delivering engaging product presentations and tailored software demonstrations o Manage and customize demo environments, scripts, and technical assets o Collaborate with Account Executives to define sales strategies and close deals o Build strong relationships with prospect stakeholders and partners o Represent IFS Softeon at trade shows and industry events • Solutioning o Design enterprise architecture solutions for prospective clients and help them visualize how IFS Softeon solutions would fit within their organization o Influence product evolution through client insights and market trends • Technical Expertise o Respond to RFXs, scope projects, and support proposal development o Configuring software for custom demonstrations o Contribute to internal team development and process improvement initiatives Qualifications • Background in presales consulting, with 1 to 2 years+ experience with WMS, software presales/delivery, or equivalent experience • Interpersonal skills, including creativity and curiosity with ability to effectively communicate and influence solution direction to both technical and non-technical audiences alike across all organizational levels. • You’re a natural presenter - engaging and dynamic • Demonstrated problem solving and creative skills, ability to exercise sound judgment on the fly and dynamically navigating from problem to solution on your feet and in the same breath • Resilient, proactive, and inquisitive by nature • You crave personal improvement, and don’t shy away from asking questions, sharing your opinion, and receiving feedback • You have a strong team spirit, viewing ultimate success as that of the group, not the individual • Experience leveraging AI is preferred Additional Information • Salary Range: $115K annually + bonus • Flexible paid time off, including sick and holiday • Medical, dental, & vision insurance • 401K with Company contribution • Flexible spending accounts • Life insurance and disability benefits
