Role Description The Soft Skills Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in Madurai. The trainer will design, deliver, and evaluate soft skills and life skills training programs for diverse learner groups, including students, early-career professionals, and job seekers. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing training materials, structuring sessions, conducting interactive classroom sessions, role plays, and group activities, and providing individualized feedback and coaching to participants. The trainer will assess learner needs, track progress through assessments and observations, and adjust content and methods to improve learning outcomes. The role also involves coordinating with academy staff, contributing to curriculum enhancement, maintaining training documentation, and participating in workshops, events, and outreach activities that promote employability and self-confidence among learners.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Training & Development, including designing, delivering, and evaluating soft skills programs.
- Excellent Communication and Soft Skills, with the ability to engage diverse learner groups and create an inclusive learning environment.
- Proficient Presentation Skills, with confidence in facilitating interactive sessions, role plays, and group discussions.
- Experience in coaching Life Skills, such as self-confidence, time management, teamwork, and professional behavior.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; certifications in training, soft skills, or counseling are an advantage.
- Prior experience as a trainer, teacher, facilitator, or coach, preferably in employability or skill development programs.
- Ability to plan and organize multiple batches, maintain learner records, and use basic digital tools (slides, online resources, assessments).
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a genuine interest in learner growth and career readiness.
