Global Markets - Developer (Hybrid) - Paris

At Societe Generale, we are looking for a Global Markets - Developer (Hybrid) to join our team in Paris. As a Global Markets - Developer (Hybrid), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex trading and risk management systems. You will work closely with business analysts, traders, and other developers to deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop high-performance, scalable trading and risk management systems - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions - Implement best practices in software engineering, including version control, testing, and deployment - Continuously improve existing systems and contribute to the evolution of our technology stack - Participate in the development of new products and features - Mentor and guide junior developers to ensure the team's success Required Skills: - Strong programming skills in Java, C++, or Python - Experience with relational databases and SQL - Familiarity with agile software development methodologies - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Experience in the financial services industry is a plus
