Role Description
This is a remote internship opportunity for the role of Social Work Intern. The intern will assist in providing social support services, manage casework, and participate in initiatives aimed at addressing educational and social needs. A significant part of the role involves effective communication with individuals and institutions to advocate for equitable access to education and resources. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the EduAdvice team and its NGO Udaan on community development and educational outreach projects.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Social Work and Educational Social Work, with an understanding of practices to support communities and individuals
- Strong Communication skills for effective interaction and advocacy with diverse groups
- Experience or knowledge in Case Management and Social Services to support project goals
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, maintaining organization and accountability
- Commitment to community development and improving education access
- Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field is a plus
- Experience working with NGOs or involvement in community outreach programs is advantageous
