About DROPZ
DROPZ is India's first true limited-edition platform, a culture-forward destination where every product drop is rare, intentional, and never restocked. We aren't just building a brand; we're building a platform that curates stories through exclusive in-house drops, creator collaborations, and collectible releases across fashion, lifestyle, and beyond. Every drop is a moment, but the platform is the big picture and our brand must ignite cultural hype.
This role is for a Social Video Creator who wants real ownership in a 0 to 100 environment, where your output ships fast, earns attention, and directly moves community momentum. You will run end-to-end short-form video creation for drops and always-on storytelling, bringing taste, speed, and a high quality bar, while helping define what DROPZ content becomes at scale.
What Youll Do
Own weekly short-form output end-to-end, turning drop priorities into concepts, shot plans, edits, and publish-ready deliverables that feel native to Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok while matching DROPZ tone.
Build a repeatable content engine across product storytelling, BTS, dispatch and packaging moments, street and culture cuts, and drop teasers, so launches are supported with consistent volume and predictable cadence.
Take briefs or loose direction and convert them into strong hooks, scene flow, and retention-first edits, ensuring every video lands the first 2 seconds and earns watch time, saves, comments, and shares.
Shoot EGC-style content with a creator-first feel using simple setups (phone or camera), capturing stable footage, clean audio, and usable coverage that keeps edits fast without lowering the visual bar.
Plan and execute in-office and on-location shoots, directing simple setups with confidence, coaching subjects for natural delivery, and capturing b-roll that makes edits flexible under tight timelines.
Edit with strong rhythm and intention, using captions, on-screen text, sound design, and transitions that serve the story, while exporting in platform-correct specs with clean naming and version control.
Partner with brand, design, and operations to lock product details, drop dates, and narrative angles, ensuring every video is accurate, on-message, and aligned to what is actually shipping and when.
Maintain a tight pipeline with shot lists, selects, edit calendars, and approvals, so content never becomes the bottleneck during drop cycles, creator collabs, or community moments.
Track performance signals (hook rate, retention, rewatches, saves, comments) and translate learnings into the next batch of edits, iterating fast while protecting the core brand story.
Maintain a searchable DROPZ footage library (b-roll, textures, references, templates), keeping assets organized so you can ship faster over time and raise the overall consistency of the feed.
Who You Are
You have 12 to 24 months of hands-on experience shooting and editing short-form content, and you can share a portfolio where you owned the workflow from concept through final export.
You understand what makes a short-form video win, strong hook, clear narrative beat, tight pacing, and edits that feel native rather than over-produced, generic, or trend-late.
You can shoot confidently on a phone or camera, using simple lighting and audio choices to get clean results, and you consistently capture enough coverage to keep edits fast and flexible.
You have strong editing instincts and discipline, with a personal quality bar for framing, captions, sound, color consistency, clean exports, and versioning that keeps the team aligned.
You can manage multiple videos at once, balancing speed and craft by planning ahead, batching tasks, and making smart trade-offs without letting quality drift.
You bring taste and cultural awareness, staying current on formats and trends, but adapting them to DROPZ story and community fit instead of copying what everyone else is doing.
You communicate clearly with stakeholders, sharing what is shipping, what you need, and what is at risk, so the team can move as one during launch weeks.
You thrive in a 0 to 100 startup environment, bring daily intensity, and take accountability for outcomes, while being a team-first, low friction collaborator who helps raise the bar.
You are open to feedback and iteration, revising quickly without defensiveness, and using critique to sharpen the work rather than slow down momentum.
You care about building culture through content, treating every video as a moment that earns trust, grows community, and strengthens what DROPZ stands for.
What We Offer
Real ownership of a visible content lane, where your work directly shapes how DROPZ feels to the world and how every drop becomes a moment people want to be part of.
A fast-moving environment that rewards action and shipping, with the space to build repeatable systems that improve quality, speed, and consistency together.
Growth through building from 0 to 100 together, you will learn by owning outcomes, expanding your creative range, and raising your standards with each drop cycle.
