Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Greater Bengaluru Area for a Social Studies Teacher for class 9 and 10. The teacher will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lesson plans aligned with the CBSE curriculum. Duties include teaching Social Studies subjects, assisting students in understanding key historical, geographical, and social concepts, and identifying areas where students may need additional support. The role also involves monitoring and assessing student progress, participating in training sessions, attending parent-teacher meetings, and contributing to school-driven initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and implementing engaging and effective teaching methodologies
- Strong skills in Education and Teaching within the subject of Social Studies, aligned with ICSE curriculum standards
- Excellent Communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Training skills to guide students toward academic and personal development
- Relevant teaching certification or degree in Education, Social Sciences, or related fields
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to individual student needs and abilities
- Knowledge of classroom management and ability to maintain a positive learning environment
- Prior experience teaching Social Studies at the middle or high school level is an advantage
