Job Title: Social Studies (SST) Teacher – Middle School
Organization: Dreamtime Learning School
Location: Kalyani Nagar, Pune
Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
About the Role
Dreamtime Learning School is hiring a passionate and dedicated Social Studies (SST) Teacher for Middle School grades. The ideal candidate should be experienced in delivering engaging, inquiry-based learning aligned with international teaching practices. Experience with the Cambridge curriculum will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Social Studies lessons for middle school students.
Develop lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives and learning outcomes.
Encourage critical thinking, research skills, and global awareness among students.
Use innovative teaching strategies, activities, and assessments.
Monitor student progress and maintain academic records.
Conduct assessments, evaluations, and provide constructive feedback.
Collaborate with academic coordinators and fellow teachers.
Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and academic planning.
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Social Studies, History, Geography, or related field.
B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
Prior teaching experience in middle school grades is mandatory.
Cambridge curriculum experience is an advantage.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Laptop is mandatory.
