Summary:

Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned lessons in Social Science subjects (History, Geography, Political Science, Economics) for Grades 9–10.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that incorporate diverse teaching methodologies, including project-based learning, group discussions, and multimedia resources.
- Assess student performance through regular quizzes, assignments, presentations, and examinations; provide timely and constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in parent-teacher meetings and academic reviews.
- Collaborate with the academic team to align teaching strategies with institutional goals and national curriculum standards (e.g., CBSE, ICSE, or State Board).
- Utilize digital tools and educational technology to enhance classroom instruction and student engagement.
- Participate in professional development workshops, departmental meetings, and curriculum review sessions.
- Foster a respectful, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and active participation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences (e.g., History, Political Science, Geography, or Economics) with a minimum of 50% aggregate.
- Valid B.Ed. or D.Ed. qualification from a recognized university/institution.
- 3–5 years of proven teaching experience in a secondary school setting, preferably in a recognized educational board (CBSE, ICSE, or State Board).
- Strong subject knowledge and ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse learners.
- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools (e.g., Google Classroom, MS Office, LMS platforms).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to student-centered learning and continuous professional growth.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to evolving educational standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in developing and delivering interdisciplinary projects.
- Familiarity with formative and summative assessment strategies.
- Certification in educational technology or curriculum design (an advantage).
