Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in Social Science that align with the curriculum.
- Develop and implement effective classroom management strategies to create a positive learning environment.
- Assess and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning.
- Engage students in discussions and activities to promote critical thinking and encourage participation.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to support student success and address any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and progress reports.
- Stay updated on educational best practices and contribute to curriculum development initiatives.
- Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education with a specialization in Social Science.
- Qualified teacher status and appropriate certifications recognized by educational authorities.
- Strong grasp of social science concepts and curriculum standards.
Desired Experience
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a formal educational setting, preferably at the TGT level.
- Demonstrated ability to engage students and create an interactive classroom environment.
- Experience with educational technology and learning management systems is a plus.
