Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Social Science Teacher at Implex Edu. The teacher will design and deliver engaging social science lessons for middle school learners, using digital tools and resources aligned with national education standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating lesson plans, developing curriculum materials, assessing student progress, and providing timely feedback to support academic growth. The role involves fostering inclusive classroom environments, adapting teaching strategies to diverse learning styles, and addressing language barriers where needed. The Social Science Teacher will also collaborate with other educators, contribute to content development for the platform, and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Experience teaching Social Studies or Social Science to Middle School students, with a strong understanding of age-appropriate pedagogy.
- Skills in Curriculum Development and Lesson Planning to create structured, standards-aligned and engaging learning experiences.
- Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to explain complex concepts in accessible ways.
- Ability to teach effectively in remote and digital environments, using online platforms, learning management systems, and educational technology tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field; formal teacher training or certification is an advantage.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusivity, and non-discriminatory teaching practices, with sensitivity to language and cultural diversity.
- Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple classes, assessments, and communication in a remote setting.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Hindi or additional languages is a plus.
