Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Rajkot for a Social Science Educator specializing in Middle School education within ICSE and IGCSE curricula. The responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the prescribed syllabus, assessing student development, and fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment. The educator will also collaborate with colleagues to create a vibrant and innovative classroom experience and contribute to co-curricular and extracurricular activities for holistic student development.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in teaching Social Sciences, with expertise in ICSE and IGCSE curricula
- Strong skills in Lesson Planning to deliver effective and engaging educational content
- Formal qualification or certification as a teacher, with background or experience in middle school education
- Ability to incorporate interdisciplinary techniques, such as integrating concepts of Physics or Mathematics, to enhance student learning
- Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse learning needs
- Commitment to fostering curiosity and critical thinking in students
- Experience in using technology as a teaching aid is an advantage
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Education, or a related field
