### Role Overview
The Social Media Volunteer is a full-time, on-site role based in Tiruchirappalli. In this role, you will create and schedule social media posts, stories, and campaigns that showcase Athisya Foundation’s programs, impact, and community initiatives. You will manage social media pages, engage with followers, respond to messages and comments, and support online awareness drives and fundraising campaigns.
### Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate with program teams to gather content from ground initiatives.
* Draft engaging captions and create basic graphics for digital platforms.
* Manage social media channels, interact with followers, and respond to queries.
* Support events by capturing photos/short videos and sharing real-time updates.
* Track engagement metrics and suggest improvements to expand reach and visibility.
### Qualifications & Skills
* Skills in Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Content Creation.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Basic familiarity with platforms like Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), and LinkedIn.
* Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and a passion for social impact.
* Prior experience in volunteer work or community initiatives is an advantage (not mandatory).
