About The Role
As our Social Media Strategist, you will own the big picture — building channel strategies, audience frameworks, content pillars, and measurement systems that drive meaningful growth. You sit at the intersection of data and creativity: you know what the numbers mean and what to do with them. You'll work across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and emerging platforms to grow our brand's social presence with intent.
What You'll Do
- Build channel strategy: Develop and own comprehensive social media strategies per platform — content mix, posting cadence, audience targeting, and growth objectives.
- Define content pillars: Establish repeatable content frameworks and pillars aligned to brand goals, audience interests, and platform behaviour.
- Drive audience growth: Identify and execute organic growth strategies — community building, creator collaborations, trend capitalisation, and platform-native formats.
- Lead campaign planning: Develop social-first campaign concepts tied to product launches, seasonal moments, and brand initiatives — from ideation through to measurement.
- Analyse & report: Own reporting across all channels — track KPIs, extract insights, and translate data into clear strategic recommendations for leadership.
- Stay ahead of trends: Monitor platform updates, algorithm changes, cultural shifts, and competitor activity to continuously evolve our approach.
What You Bring
- 6+ years in social media strategy — with proven success growing brand accounts at scale
- Deep platform expertise — Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X — and an instinct for emerging platforms
- Strong analytical ability — comfortable with native analytics, Google Analytics, and third-party tools
- Campaign planning experience — across paid and organic social, from ideation to post-analysis
- Content strategy skills — ability to develop frameworks that guide creators and writers
- Understanding of Indian social landscape — trending formats, creator culture, regional audience behaviour
- Excellent communication — able to present strategies clearly to leadership and cross-functional teams
- Experience with social tools — Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later, or equivalents
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience managing influencer and creator partnerships at scale
- Background in performance marketing or paid social media management
- Experience in a fast-growing D2C, media, or startup environment
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification in marketing or communications
