Role Description
We are looking for a highly creative and strategic Social Media Strategist to lead end-to-end digital campaign planning and execution for political leaders, parties, and public affairs initiatives. The role involves designing comprehensive digital strategies, developing impactful content narratives, managing campaign calendars, coordinating with creative and content teams, monitoring campaign performance, and driving audience engagement across multiple social media platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Indian politics, voter behavior, digital trends, and platform algorithms, with the ability to translate political objectives into measurable digital outcomes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Political Science, Public Policy, or a related field.
4–7 years of experience in social media strategy, digital marketing, political consulting, campaign management, or public affairs communications.
Proven experience in conceptualizing and executing large-scale political or issue-based digital campaigns.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, WhatsApp, and emerging digital channels.
Experience in content planning, narrative building, audience segmentation, and engagement strategies.
Ability to work closely with content writers, graphic designers, video editors, and media teams to create high-impact campaign assets.
Familiarity with social media analytics, listening tools, performance tracking, and campaign reporting.
Understanding of political communication, election campaigns, public sentiment, and digital outreach strategies.
Strong project management, stakeholder management, and team coordination skills.
Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure campaign environment and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
