As the Social Media Executive & Video Content Creator, you will be responsible for managing our agency’s/client's social media presence as well as creating high-quality video content for both internal and client use. You will play a critical role in engaging audiences, building communities, and producing visually compelling narratives that align with brand strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
- Develop and implement creative social media strategies across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube for the agency and clients.
- Create, schedule, and monitor daily content (posts, stories, reels, etc.) to grow follower engagement and brand visibility.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and make data-driven adjustments to strategies to maximize results.
- Stay updated on current social media trends, tools, applications, channels, and best practices.
- Interact with followers, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner, and engage with the community.
Reporting & Optimization:
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for both social media growth and video content engagement.
- Use analytics tools (Facebook Insights, Instagram Insights, Google Analytics, etc.) to provide performance reports and actionable insights.
- Continuously optimize content based on performance data.
Video Content Creation:
- Conceptualize, shoot, and produce high-quality video content, including promotional videos, fun and trending reels/shorts, behind-the-scenes content, and social media ads.
- Work with the marketing and creative teams to ensure that the video content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and translate it into engaging video content that resonates with their target audience.
- Plan and execute video shoots.
Collaboration & Creativity:
- Work closely with the creative and client servicing teams to brainstorm and produce innovative content ideas.
- Coordinate with external vendors or freelancers when necessary for larger projects.
- Suggest and experiment with new content formats and trends that will boost engagement.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Experience: 2-3 years of creating and managing social media content in an agency setup preferred.
- Education: You know your stuff. A degree in Marketing, Communications, or something similar helps, but we're really interested in what you’ve done.
- Tech-Savvy: You’ve got solid skills with mobile video editing apps and know your way around apps like Canva.
- Social Butterfly: You’ve got the ins and outs of all major social platforms down, and you’re always ahead of the latest trends.
- Creative Spark: You’re not afraid to push boundaries and come up with fresh ideas. “That’s so boring” isn’t in your vocabulary.
