JOB TITLE: Executive - Social Media Content
FUNCTIONAL AREA: Brand & Marketing
REPORTS TO: Sr. Manager – Brand & Marketing
POSITION’S OBJECTIVE: (Brief on position’s objective)
Coordinate & further marketing success in the domain of Social Media Platforms [Instagram,
Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest] as relevant to the Brand & Business objectives.
Role will require coordination within
a. Vertical | Brand Team - Social Media Strategy Lead + Brand Managers
b. Department | Brand & Marketing - Creative & Copy Team, Visual Merchandising,
Regional Marketing & Public Relations
c. Company | Product/Design & Markets Team - for deeper understanding of
products/services & Store Experience
d. External | Partners & Collaborators - as per need
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ideate and develop innovative social media content aligned with brand campaigns and
planned social media calendars across assigned handles
• Define concept storyboards and detailed design briefs for the Social Media platforms
across brands/sub-brands & categories in line with best practices for content
• Manage end to end content lifecycle, from ideation to execution/posting in line with
scheduled actions
• Coordination with other departments for product understanding and content curation
• Focus on developing Pinterest and YouTube as strong platforms
• Understand the impact of social media content w.r.t pre-defined KPIs and work on
improving returns
• Stay updated on Content Trends, algorithm changes, new features and best practices
• Community Building + User Generated Content
• Regular Store Visits to create content
• Coordination with CDMs & In-House Creative Team
• Ensure timely & accurate reporting of competition/reference content approach and trends
EXPERIENCE SPECIFICATIONS:
Years of Experience:
2-3 Yrs. Exp. in the area of Content Development for Social Media Platforms
Copywriting/Visualisation Experience will be highly valued
Work in established Fashion, Apparel, Lifestyle Brands will be a key advantage
Bachelor/Master/Doctorate
Masters ideally in Arts/Liberal Arts/Creative Communication
Bachelors in Fashion Communication
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
• Social Media Content Development for all the platforms [Meta, YouTube, Pinterest]
• Content Creation & Development for effective Social Media Campaigns - knowledge of
design and aesthetic presentation.
• Checklist Management for Content across individual platform capabilities from #s,
keywords to AltText
• Ability to write sharp creative design briefs
• Strong command over English and contemporary trends in copy
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Creator/Influencer Mapping
• Basic knowledge of Social Scheduling Tools [Hootsuite]
