About the Role
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic SMO Intern to join our Digital Marketing team. The intern will assist in managing social media platforms, creating engaging content, improving social media presence, and supporting campaigns to increase brand awareness, engagement, and website traffic.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing social media accounts such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn,
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging social media posts.
- Research trending topics, hashtags, keywords, and relevant content ideas.
- Monitor social media trends and competitor activities.
- Support the development of social media content calendars.
- Improve engagement through comments, messages, polls, stories, reels, and other interactive content.
- Track and report social media performance using relevant analytics tools.
- Assist with social media campaigns and promotional activities.
- Coordinate with the content, SEO, and design teams to develop effective social media creatives.
- Stay updated with the latest social media algorithms, features, and digital marketing trends.
- Help optimize social media profiles and content for better reach and visibility.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with an interest in social media and content creation.
- Basic knowledge of hashtags, social media analytics, and content optimization.
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Meta Business Suite, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a team.
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
