About the Role:
We’re looking for a Junior Marketing Manager to take ownership of our digital presence across social media and our website. This role is ideal for someone who is both aesthetic-led and strategy-aware, with a strong eye for design, storytelling, and content that genuinely connects with our audience.
You’ll be working closely with the founder and design team to shape how Patrika shows up online, from Instagram reels and stories to website content and customer interactions. This is an in-person role in South Delhi.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media & Content
- Manage the Patrika Gift Shop’s social media accounts (primarily Instagram)
- Plan and execute a monthly social media calendar that balances aesthetics, strategy, and storytelling
- Create visually cohesive, on-brand content using Canva (strong command required)
- Conceptualise and create aesthetic reels with strong hooks, captions, and engagement-led storytelling
- Moodboard and ideate content that aligns with campaigns, launches, seasons, and gifting moments
- Write thoughtful, grammatically strong captions, reels scripts, stories, and CTAs in British English
- Track engagement and optimise content based on performance and audience response
Community & Client Interaction
- Respond to DMs, comments, and website queries in a warm, brand-aligned manner
- Act as the first point of contact for customers reaching out via social media or the website
- Flag recurring customer queries, feedback, and insights to the team
Website & Content Updates
- Update products, descriptions, collections, and banners on the website
- Ensure all copy on the website feels polished, clear, and on-brand
- Assist with launching new products and collections digitally
Collaboration
- Work closely with the design team to brief and coordinate illustrations, graphics, and visual assets for social media and the website
- Assist in campaign ideation, launches, and special drops
- Support marketing initiatives across gifting seasons, pop-ups, collaborations, and events
What we're looking for:
- 1 year of experience in social media, content, or marketing (brand or agency side)
- Strong visual sensibility and an instinctive understanding of aesthetic-led brands
- Excellent command over written English (captions, stories, product copy)
- Comfortable with Canva, moodboarding, and short-form video content
- Organised, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Someone is personally interested in gifting, stationery, homeware etc.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to grow with the brand
What this role is not:
- This is not a purely execution-only or “posting” role
- This is not performance marketing or ads-focused
- This is a brand-building role that requires sensitivity, creativity, and strategy
- A quick stint, we are looking for candidates looking to stay on and build a career
