Role Overview
We are looking for a creative, proactive, and detail-oriented Social Media Executive to manage and grow the digital presence of Women First Jobs and its associated platforms. The ideal candidate should understand content strategy, audience engagement, brand storytelling, and social media trends, and should be able to create content that builds credibility, community, and conversions.
This role requires someone who can blend creativity with execution and is passionate about women empowerment, careers, leadership, and professional branding.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Manage day-to-day social media activities across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok if needed
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content aligned with brand goals
- Maintain a consistent brand tone, visual identity, and posting calendar
- Ensure timely posting for campaigns, events, job openings, podcast promotions, and community updates
Content Creation & Execution
- Draft compelling captions, hooks, post copies, and short-form content
- Coordinate the creation of reels, carousels, posters, stories, and video snippets
- Repurpose long-form content into bite-sized social media assets
- Support founder branding content and thought leadership posts
- Assist in promoting podcasts, webinars, events, and women-focused initiatives
Community Engagement
- Monitor comments, messages, and audience interactions across platforms
- Respond to inquiries in a professional and brand-aligned manner
- Build engagement through interactive content, polls, discussions, and community-led conversations
- Track audience sentiment and identify opportunities to improve visibility and engagement
Strategy & Growth
- Support monthly content planning based on campaigns, hiring priorities, events, and brand initiatives
- Research industry trends, competitor activity, and relevant social media opportunities
- Suggest innovative ideas to improve reach, followers, engagement, and lead generation
- Help execute social media campaigns for recruitment, employer branding, events, and partnerships
Analytics & Reporting
- Track performance metrics including reach, engagement, follower growth, impressions, profile visits, leads, and conversions
- Prepare weekly and monthly social media performance reports
- Identify top-performing content and provide recommendations for improvement
- Monitor content effectiveness and optimize based on insights
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media, Business, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content marketing
- Strong understanding of LinkedIn and Instagram, especially for professional and brand-led growth
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience in content writing, copywriting, and storytelling
- Good sense of aesthetics and understanding of branding
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, CapCut, or similar tools
- Basic understanding of video editing and reel creation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with a recruitment, media, startup, education, or women-focused brand
- Understanding of personal branding and founder-led content
- Knowledge of podcast promotion and event marketing
- Basic knowledge of paid campaigns/boosting posts is an advantage
- Passion for women empowerment, DEI, careers, and community building
