About the Role
We are looking for a creative and culturally aware Social Media Executive who understands Gen Z trends, internet culture and how content works across Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn. You will create and execute content for both personal brands and service-based business brands, including short-form videos, founder-led content, brand campaigns, Vox Pops, captions, scripts and content calendars.
Key Responsibilities
- Ideate, script, shoot and edit Reels, Shorts, Stories and other social content.
- Create platform-specific content for Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn.
- Develop content for personal brands, founder profiles and service-based businesses.
- Conduct Vox Pops and appear on camera when required.
- Write hooks, captions, scripts, carousel copy and LinkedIn posts.
- Maintain content calendars, shoot schedules and publishing timelines.
- Track trends, relevant conversations and content opportunities.
- Repurpose long-form videos, interviews and podcasts into short-form content.
- Manage comments, DMs and community interactions.
- Track performance across reach, views, watch time, shares, saves and engagement.
What We’re Looking For
- 2–3 years of relevant social media experience.
- Strong understanding of Gen Z culture, humour, trends and digital behavior.
- Experience with Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn.
- Strong scripting, copywriting and short-form storytelling skills.
- Confidence on camera and while approaching people for Vox Pops.
- Ability to shoot and edit good-quality smartphone content.
- Working knowledge of CapCut, Premiere Pro, Canva or similar tools.
- Ability to manage multiple brands, deadlines and content requirements.
- A strong portfolio of content created for brands, founders or creators.
