Social Media Manager – Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the complete digital marketing function including marketing databases, email marketing, and display advertising campaigns.
- Develop, plan, and control campaign budgets to ensure optimum utilization and maximum ROI.
- Create, manage, and scale the company’s presence across social media platforms.
- Build monthly and quarterly content calendars aligned with business goals.
- Plan, execute, and optimize paid advertising campaigns (lead generation, brand awareness, remarketing).
- Track, analyze, and prepare detailed reports on campaign performance and conversions.
- Coordinate with advertising, creative, and media partners to improve results.
- Stay up to date with the latest digital trends, algorithm updates, and marketing technologies.
- Monitor and evaluate KPIs such as engagement rate, CTR, CPL, conversion ratio, and audience growth.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure marketing efforts support revenue targets.
- Brainstorm innovative growth strategies, funnels, and customer acquisition ideas.
- Oversee contests, giveaways, webinars, launches, and promotional campaigns.
- Manage online brand reputation and respond to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely manner.
- Supervise content creation including graphics, videos, reels, blogs, and ad copies.
- Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify opportunities.
- Improve lead quality through targeting, A/B testing, and campaign refinement.
- Ensure brand consistency in communication, visuals, and tone across platforms.
- Manage influencer collaborations, partnerships, and affiliate activities where applicable.
- Work closely with the website/SEO team to improve landing page performance.
- Train and guide junior team members, interns, or external agencies.
Requirements
Proven minimum 3+ years working experience in a digital marketing position.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or relevant field.
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms.
- Highly creative with excellent analytical abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing.
