The Opportunity
ISMG is seeking a highly driven, creative, and strategically minded
Social Media Lead to join our global Marketing Services team. This role will be instrumental in driving brand visibility, audience engagement, digital growth, and thought leadership across ISMG’s expanding portfolio of brands, events, and media properties.
The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist, storyteller, analyst, and executor — someone who understands how to build impactful B2B social media campaigns that drive measurable business outcomes across both organic and paid channels. You should have a strong pulse on emerging social trends, platform best practices, audience engagement strategies, and evolving digital marketing technologies, including AI-driven content and workflow optimization tools.
This is a highly collaborative and visible role that partners closely with internal marketing, editorial, sales, and leadership teams to amplify ISMG’s voice and strengthen our digital presence globally.
What You'll Do
- Manage, publish, and optimize content across key social media platforms including LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube, and other emerging channels relevant to B2B technology audiences.
- Develop and execute strategic social media plans aligned with brand, audience growth, lead generation, and business objectives.
- Create compelling B2B-focused social media content and campaigns that drive engagement, visibility, and conversion.
- Build and manage integrated organic and paid social media campaigns with clearly defined KPIs and ROI goals.
- Monitor campaign performance, audience behavior, and engagement metrics to deliver actionable insights and continuous optimization recommendations.
- Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, competitor activity, AI tools, and emerging digital marketing best practices.
- Utilize social media management and analytics platforms such as Hootsuite, Sprinklr, or similar tools for publishing, scheduling, listening, reporting, and performance tracking.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, editorial, creative, sales, and event teams to support strategic campaigns, brand initiatives, and audience engagement efforts.
- Support executive thought leadership and event promotion strategies through social amplification and audience targeting initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to expand audience reach, improve engagement quality, and strengthen ISMG’s digital brand presence globally.
What You Bring to the Table
- 3–5+ years of experience managing B2B social media strategy, content, and campaigns, ideally within technology, cybersecurity, media, publishing, or digital marketing environments.
- Proven experience managing and growing social media presence across multiple platforms and audiences.
- Strong understanding of LinkedIn and X/Twitter platform strategy, audience engagement, and paid amplification best practices.
- Excellent B2B social media copywriting and storytelling skills with the ability to tailor messaging across audiences and channels.
- Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to improve content development, workflow efficiency, campaign optimization, and overall productivity.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign performance data and translate insights into strategic recommendations.
- Experience developing and executing both organic and paid social campaigns with measurable business impact.
- Familiarity with social media management, publishing, listening, and analytics tools such as Hootsuite, Sprinklr, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of emerging social media trends, digital marketing strategies, and performance advertising best practices.
