About the Role
We are looking for two Social Media Interns to manage and grow content across the personal brands of our founders (Akhilesh & Sri) and our company profiles (Nexgen & Hapie). You will work closely with the founders and the design team to shape how our brands show up online, from daily posts and reels to creator collaborations and community engagement.
This is a hands-on role for someone who lives on social media, understands what makes content work, and is excited to build a strong personal and brand network in the digital space.
Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)
- Content publishing: ship 5–7 posts per week per brand (Akhilesh, Sri, Nexgen, Hapie) across LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and YouTube; maintain a 2-week content calendar with zero missed slots.
- Copy & captions: write captions, hooks, and CTAs for every post; brief the design intern with reference frames and copy 48 hours in advance of publish.
- Creator outreach: send 10–15 personalized outreach DMs or emails per week to relevant creators, founders, and podcast hosts; close 1–2 collaborations or guest features per month.
- Community engagement: engage with 30–50 target accounts per day through thoughtful comments, replies, and shares; respond to all DMs and comments on owned profiles within 12 hours.
- Performance tracking: publish a weekly metrics report covering reach, engagement rate, follower growth, profile visits, and top 3 / bottom 3 posts per profile; flag insights and content ideas for the next week.
- Trend research: surface 3–5 trending audios, formats, hooks, or conversations per week per brand category, with a recommended angle for each.
- Growth experiments: run 2 content experiments per month (new format, posting time, hook style) and document the outcome.
Skills & Tools
- Strong written communication in English; ability to write crisp, scroll-stopping copy.
- Active presence on at least 2 platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, or YouTube).
- Good understanding of content formats: reels, carousels, threads, and shorts.
- Familiarity with top & trending AI tools.
- Bonus: basic understanding of analytics dashboards and influencer outreach.
