Job description for Social Media Intern

Khaki Heritage Foundation is a not-for-profit sister concern that has the objectives of heritage awareness, archiving and conservation. KHF conducts free online talks on history and heritage every week, as well as exhibitions, workshops and more at Khaki Lab.
To promote Khaki Tours’ walks and tours and Khaki Heritage Foundation’s initiatives on social media, Team Khaki is looking for a Social Media Intern.
Responsibilities:
- Upload and share social media posts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Linkedin according to a predetermined schedule
- Create designs on Canva according to a given template
- Create events on Facebook, Zoom and website
- Make time stamps for online talk recording, check the edited video and upload on YouTube
- Create mailers for MailChimp according to a given template
- Reply to reviews on TripAdvisor and Google
- Collate profile views, impressions and other data on a regular basis
- Assist the social media team with their work (includes: whatsapp broadcast, whatsapp catalog)
You should have:
- Familiarity with all social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Workspace and WhatsApp
- Working proficiency on Canva ability to write well in English
- Good design sense
- A personal smartphone/laptop for posting
- 6-7 hours of free time to dedicate to the position daily
Who should apply:
- Undergraduates with an interest in social media and/or travel or tourism
- Fresh graduates/Masters students may also apply
Internship period:
- Six months, extendable by another six months
