Social Media & Community Growth Intern
Why This Exists
There are two kinds of brands in the world. The ones people discover because of ads. And the ones people discover because someone said something so sharp in a comment section that they had to click. We are building the second kind. Comments are the most underrated growth channel on the internet. Done right, a single comment on the right post, in front of the right audience, beats a paid campaign every time. We are looking for six people who understand this instinctively.
What You Will Learn Here
- Six months at this internship will teach you things that most social media courses spend years trying to explain and still get wrong.
- How platform algorithms actually work. Not the surface-level version. The version where you understand why some comments get buried and others pull hundreds of profile visits. You will develop a felt sense for this across LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
- How to use AI as a thinking tool, not a shortcut. You will learn to prompt intelligently, iterate quickly, and produce comments that feel human and considered, not generated.
- How to identify the right room before you speak. ICP targeting is not just for paid ads. You will learn to find exactly where your ideal audience congregates online and insert your brand into that conversation without friction.
- How to write for conversion at speed. Going from 60 to 200 quality comments a day is not a volume problem. It is a systems and craft problem. You will solve both.
What You Will Do Here
- Post 60 targeted comments per day on relevant posts across your assigned platform, scaling to 200 per day by month three. These are not filler comments. Every comment should be sharp enough to make someone stop scrolling.
- Hunt for the right posts. The biggest part of this job is not the writing. It is finding the conversations already happening where our audience is paying attention. That is a research and judgment skill that you will build fast here.
- Schedule and publish content on your assigned platform. Keep the brand voice consistent. Show up every day.
- Track what drives results and kill what does not. You own the feedback loop on your platform.
The Type of Person Who Fits
- You do not have to check every box. These point to a type.
- You have left a comment on a post that got more engagement than the post itself, and you know exactly why it worked.
- You have a native fluency on at least one platform. You do not just use it. You understand it.
- You already use AI tools and you know the difference between a good prompt and a lazy one.
- You are the kind of person who notices when a brand says something clever online and immediately reverse-engineers how they did it.
- You have taste. You know what witty looks like, and more importantly, you know what trying-too-hard-to-be-witty looks like.
- Education and background: irrelevant. Results and voice: everything.
How We Hire
Shortlisted candidates get 12-hour access to the page. The task: post 60 comments across relevant posts. We evaluate targeting accuracy, tone, and whether your comments actually make the right people want to visit. No templates. No fluff. Your comments are your interview.
