Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Social Media Marketing Intern at EduAdvice™. The intern will support the planning, creation, and publishing of content across social media platforms to drive engagement and community growth. Day-to-day tasks include drafting posts, designing basic visuals or coordinating with designers, scheduling content, and monitoring comments, messages, and audience interactions. The intern will assist in running campaigns for key initiatives such as podcasts, campus news, scholarship alerts, and academic job updates, while tracking basic performance metrics. The role also involves researching education trends, collaborating with the editorial and marketing teams, and contributing ideas to strengthen EduAdvice’s online presence.
Qualifications
- Ability to plan and execute campaigns using Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing principles.
- Skill in Social Media Content Creation, including writing clear copy and adapting content to different platforms.
- Interest or foundational knowledge in Marketing, especially in audience engagement and brand awareness.
- Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to clarity and tone.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Basic familiarity with social media analytics tools and content scheduling platforms is an advantage.
- Creative mindset, ability to work independently in a remote environment, and interest in the education sector.
