Role Overview: As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you will work closely with the founder/product team to create content, manage social media activities, track trends, and support digital marketing campaigns. This role is ideal for someone who is creative, curious, fast-moving, and excited about startups, communities, and professional networking.
Key Responsibility:
- Create content ideas for LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
- Write captions, LinkedIn posts, reel scripts, carousel content, and campaign copy.
- Research social media trends and convert them into relevant content opportunities for Connectify.
- Support the planning and execution of social media campaigns.
- Help manage posting calendars and maintain consistency across platforms.
- Track engagement, reach, follower growth, and other basic social media metrics.
- Engage with the online community through comments, DMs, and relevant conversations.
- Coordinate with design/video teams for creatives, reels, and short-form content.
- Suggest new content formats, campaign ideas, and growth experiments.
- Support event-based marketing, founder-led content, and community-building initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation.
- Candidates should possess skills in Digital Marketing and Marketing.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic understanding of social media analytics and familiarity with major social platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment and manage time effectively.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail and a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Enrollment in or completion of a program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior internship, projects, or portfolio related to social media or digital content are an advantage.
