Company Description
We're a pet brand with a big personality — and one very opinionated tuxedo cat who considers himself co-founder.
Chonky Paws makes premium enrichment products for dogs and cats, and we tell stories that actually mean something to pet parents. We launched in May 2026 and we're building the brand in real time. We need someone who thinks in aesthetics, moves fast, and wants to be part of something from its earliest days.
The role: 3-month: paid full time contract, and hybrid. If it's a good fit, for both of us there's a real path to full-time.
What you'll be doing:
- Designing social media posts for Instagram (static, carousels, stories) using Canva, Figma or your preferred tool
- Working with AI image generation tools (Midjourney, Higgsfield, or similar) to create on-brand product and lifestyle visuals
- Collaborating directly with the founder on content strategy, creative direction, and campaign ideas
- Building and scheduling content from our content calendar
- Keeping an eye on trends — and having the taste to know when they fit us and when they don't
- Occasionally supporting influencer coordination and community engagement
What we're looking for:
- A strong design eye — you notice when something's off and you know how to fix it
- Someone with pet (you'll get the brief instantly)
- Comfort with AI tools for image generation
- Someone who's active on Instagram and thinks about why content works
- Based in Bengaluru — this is a hybrid role with in-person collab days
- 40 hrs/week, flexible schedule.
- A portfolio or Instagram handle that shows your visual sensibility — this matters more than a degree
Bonus if you:
- Have run or contributed to a brand's social presence before
- Know your way around Reels or short-form video editing
What this actually is:
You won't be scheduling posts someone else made. You'll be making them. You'll have real creative ownership, direct access to the founder, and a front-row seat to what it looks like to build a brand from scratch. 3 months to start. More, if we're right for each other.
